Secure data on removal devices.
Removable USB drives makes it easy to move data from one PC to another and to keep backups at another location. But because of their size they are also easy to misplace and lost.
If it happens to have all of your private data on it, all of a sudden someone else now has that data. With that data they now have all the information to become you. Steal your identity. Or if it’s business information, such as the business plan, secrets, cost proposals or client list, steal your business.
Some devices now offer data encryption as part of their drives. It’s wise to use it. There are also other software answers to data encryption.
